Hi there! I’m Natasha from Houseful of Nicholes.
Based on what is shared publicly, pet care is woven into a whole-family, whole-home lifestyle here. There are four kids, three dogs, homeschooling, travel, and urban homesteading all happening in one Chicago household. So animals are part of a larger ecosystem of responsibility, gardening, community work, and teaching kids how to care for living things.
That means:
- Pets are family, not accessories
- Care is shared and modeled for the kids
- Routines have to fit a busy, community-centered, city-homestead life
What part of pet care are you most curious about—daily routines, training, or how it all fits with kids and gardening?
