Janis Elspas’s garden makeover project at Roxbury Park supports the Beverly Hills community in several meaningful ways. By refreshing the garden areas as an Eagle Scouts project, it beautifies a popular public space, making it more inviting for families, kids, and visitors to relax and play.

It also teaches local youth about service, leadership, and environmental stewardship through hands-on work in the park. Projects like this strengthen neighborhood pride and demonstrate community members’ commitment to caring for shared spaces.
