Traditional leadership education creates a few big challenges:
- It often strips away a person’s authentic self, teaching leaders to fit a mold instead of owning who they really are
- Leaders are taught how to act, what to do, and what to measure, so leadership becomes a game of checking boxes
- Over time, that “game” stops bringing joy, and that is where credibility and trust begin to erode, because actions no longer match true values
