Summary

I see travel and personal growth as deeply intertwined, but only if you travel with your heart and mind wide open.

Key Focus Areas

From my perspective, travel:

  1. Forces you out of your comfort zone, making you more resourceful and adaptable
  2. Teaches patience and the ability to “go with the flow” when things don’t work as at home
  3. Expands your knowledge of places and, just as importantly, of yourself
  4. Makes you aware of and grateful for your privilege and everyday comforts
  5. Builds tolerance, respect, and empathy by showing how similar people are everywhere
  6. Raises your awareness of both the good and bad in human nature
  7. Creates lasting memories that shape who you are more than any material purchase

In short, I believe travel can make you a better person – more grounded, compassionate, and self-aware – if you approach it intentionally and respectfully.

What aspect of personal growth through travel are you most curious about?
