The closest thing to a “definitive guide” in my work is a reframing, not a single book or doctrine:
- Dark NDEs are not punishments but invitations to growth and awakening
- They are often dynamic, not eternal—states that change when we surrender, ask for help, or shift our attitude
- Experiences described as “hellish” are usually inner states externalized, not God torturing people
- Even the darkest NDEs can become turning points leading to compassion, purpose, and spiritual maturity
