Hi there!
I focus less on chasing “fancy gear” and more on what actually helps you book work and grow your career. In general, I recommend you prioritize:
- A solid entry‑ to mid‑level XLR mic (not a bargain USB stick)
- A reliable audio interface
- Closed‑back studio headphones
- A DAW you can actually learn and use quickly
- Most importantly: proper room treatment so you sound professional
Gear is only half the equation; performance, business skills, and branding matter just as much for career growth.
What gear do you already own, and what’s your budget range?
