I talk about AI in voiceover pretty bluntly: it is here, it is getting better, and you cannot ignore it. But that does not automatically mean all human voice actors are doomed.

A few key points I make in my AI video and content:

  1. AI will take some jobs, especially low-budget, fast-turnaround, highly repetitive work
  2. It will also create new markets for more specialized, branded, emotionally nuanced human performance
  3. Smart talent treat AI as something to understand strategically, not panic over

I also emphasize that casting for serious brands, strong storytelling, and nuanced emotion still heavily favors real actors who can collaborate, interpret, and problem-solve.

What specifically worries you more: losing jobs to AI, or how to position yourself so you still get cast?
