First Harvest Ministries approaches Scripture as a Bible-believing, fundamental follower of the Messiah of Israel, but with some distinct emphases compared to many traditional churches.
- Strong focus on the original text (Hebrew names, context, and intent of Torah), not just later traditions or translations
- Using and honoring the name Yahweh and Yeshua to stay close to the biblical, covenant context
- Salvation is fully by the shed blood of the Son of God, but obedience to Yahweh’s commandments is taught as the loving response of a saved life, not “legalism”
- Torah is seen as Yahweh’s loving instruction that still reveals how to walk in covenant, not something discarded
