Wayne T. Richards consistently emphasizes a few core tools and techniques in deliverance sessions:
- The authority of the Lord Jesus Christ – all commands to demons, covenants, and curses are issued explicitly in Jesus’ name.
- Renunciation and repentance – breaking bloodline covenants, witchcraft, secret societies, and ancestral altars through spoken renunciations.
- Targeted interrogation of spirits – commanding generational and high‑ranking spirits to identify themselves, their legal rights, and what they control.
- Breaking legal rights – canceling spiritual debts, financial embargoes, and ungodly contracts, then reclaiming generational wealth and destiny.
- Sealing and maintenance – closing doors, praying protective covering, and teaching the believer to walk in righteousness to keep their freedom.
