From the Route 66 content I’ve shared so far, here are a few of the key things I lean on to really show off the Mother Road:
- Photo sequences instead of single shots – I use photomode carousels so you feel like you’re moving along the highway, not just looking at one postcard.
- Strong use of classic Americana: neon signs, vintage cars, old diners, wide-open road vistas.
- Shooting at golden hour or dusk so the sky and neon glow together.
- Framing that keeps the road as a leading line, pulling your eye into the distance and giving that “endless adventure” feel.
