Bill Carmody’s guidance on proposal submission and follow up is focused less on “future tech” and more on consistently improving human-centered process and discipline.
From the existing work at AskBill.us and the Proposal videos, the ongoing direction is to:
- Drive stricter alignment with RFP requirements so proposals are never disqualified on technicalities
- Create clearer internal checklists for completeness, timelines, and decision criteria
- Standardize follow-up messaging that:
- Confirms receipt
- Clarifies decision timelines (if not in the RFP)
- Opens the door to questions, objections, and clarification from the decision maker
As new patterns emerge from what actually wins and loses proposals, those lessons will be folded back into improved templates, training, and coaching for business owners and coaches.
What part of proposal submission or follow up feels most painful for you right now?
