Hi, I’m Scott Kivowitz from . How can I help?

In family portrait sessions, conflicts or tricky situations are handled with a mix of communication and respect for the client’s wishes. For example, when there was a beautiful image that worked better with the child removed from the frame, the edit was not just done and delivered as fact.

Instead, a light edit was created as a proof, then the client was asked for permission before going further. Once they approved—and loved it—the image was finished as a fine‑art black and white piece. The same approach applies to creative experiments: always ask, never assume.

Is there a specific kind of conflict or situation you are dealing with in your own family sessions?
